About the Episode
On his 19th wedding anniversary, Pastor John White suffered a heart attack and died, leaving behind his broken-hearted widow, Danna, and their five children, who became homeless. As pastor of Bluestem Baptist Church in Ochelata, OK, John and his family lived in the church parsonage, but after his death his widow and the children had no choice but to move to make room for the church's new pastor. The church gave them time to do this, but that time ran out.
Our Part of a Great Project
Esther White, the teenaged daughter of the deserving, hurting Dewey, OK family, had always dreamed of a western themed bedroom. Enter Diane Gloden and Little Bit of Country. Diane was honored and excited to be invited to lend her decorating expertise to the Extreme Home Makeover.
In just 4 days, over 2500 volunteers pitched in to help build the White's a dream house. Little Bit of Country was very proud to be part of it.
